Bernie Leaker VE7BR, President of theNorth Shore Amateur Radio Club, cordially invites you to attend “RAC NIGHT”, on Thursday March 2 at 7:30 PM.
Guests of honour will be:
Glenn MacDonell VE3XRA of Ottawa, President of Radio Amateurs of Canada, who will address the meeting on amateur radio issues in Canada, and Bill Gipps VE7XS of Langley, past-Director of RAC, who will receive a plaque of appreciation from NSARC for his years of service to amateur radio, and report on Distracted Driving Legislation, and Allan Munnik VA7MP of Surrey, current Director of RAC for BC and Yukon.
LOCATION:Meeting room of North Shore Emergency Management,
2nd floor, 147 East 14th Street, North Vancouver.
PARKING: Limited free street parking is available on East 14th and surrounding streets, or -North Vanc City Employees parking lot on West 14th Street; enter off Chesterfield Ave.
Free parking after 5 PM.
-North Vanc City Library underground parking at 120 West 14th Street; $1/hour, CAUTION: Elevator and stairs on east side will be locked at 10 PM on March 2nd only. (Doors are normally locked at 9:30pm)
-Lions Gate Hospital Public Parking off E. 15th St., $6 for evening, 5pm-6am
