Spring Swapmeet a Resounding Success!

First a huge thanks to everyone who participated in our 2011 Spring Swapmeet; this was one of our most successful events to date!

With vendors displaying a huge variety of ham gear, computer equipment, antennae, and electronics - there was something for everyone at this event.

Once again, the guys down in the kitchen did an incredible job; and we would be remiss in not thanking them for serving up another of their great sausage and pancake breakfasts, which have become a tradition with both vendors and attendees alike.

Look for pictures to be posted here soon!

Field Day 2011

Yes, it’s that time of year again!

The excitement, tents, generators, batteries, radios, antennae, food, drink, bonfire, laughter and camaraderie….  The planning and preparations for this year’s event have officially kicked off!

Mark [VE7YMM] is requesting that any members planning to attend/participate in this year’s event please advise us ASAP, so we can start planning for food and drink, etc.

For members intending to camp overnight - please advise, so we can start planning accommodation placement and operating schedules accordingly.

In addition, for any members intending to bring along personal equipment and antennae - please let us know, as we’re starting to look at this year’s operating modes and configuration.

Our Field Day event continues to grow each year, in size and popularity; and this year is no exception - so club members, please remember to login, to read more about this year’s exciting plans! [sorry, club membership only]

Also, over the following couple of months we’ll be continuing our planning tutorials (from where we left off last year)…  …so please remember to login. [sorry, club membership only]
