CLUB DSTAR RULES & PROCEDURES

Announce When Disconnecting

While you might be finished with a reflector, another user may be monitoring and desiring that reflector.  As a courtesy before disconnecting, please announce your intention to disconnect and wait momentarily for a response before disconnecting.

Disconnect when complete

When you are finished with a reflector, please disconnect or simply re-connect to the reflector REF026A.

20 Minute Rule

The D-Star repeater has an automatic 20-minute disconnect.  After 20 minutes, regardless of the current activity, the repeater will return to reflector REF026A.  Users that are participating in a QSO or are waiting to be called on a net should be aware of this.  There will be no prior warning of the disconnection, but users will receive an announcement of the re-connection to REF026A.
