Once again, because of COVID, our Field Day will not be a normal one, but the good news is that we are indeed going ahead with an event for club members, albeit small scale.
Unfortunately, because we must cap the number of participants, we won’t be able to encourage public participation as we’ve done in the past and we must limit the number of club members on site at any time. Club members unable to attend are able to work from any location and their results are cumulatively added to the club total, so even though you aren’t able to be present, you can still contribute in a meaningful way. After the event, we’ll coordinate the submission of logs to ensure they are properly credited.
A COVID safety plan has been approved by the city and we have been given the key to the park. All attendees must undergo a screening, temperature check and sign a waiver before being permitted entry.
For those club members interested in participating, please contact Dave or Mike, or attend the Thursday evening coffee session on June 23rd. A work party will occur on Thursday and Friday evenings for those looking to attend the event.
