At the regular monthly meeting on December 3rd, the club received a report from its ad hoc committee tasked with recommending replacement computers. The option approved was the replacement of three club laptops with Dell Latitude E5450’s (pictured here). Additional funding was granted to upgrade processors and to install solid-state harddrives.
The new computers will assist with logging contacts on Field Day and increase the club’s capacity to do digital modes such as FT8 in the clubroom.
