The Vancouver Sun Run will again be seeking licensed amateur radio operators to assist with communications. The run takes places Sunday, April 24th.
Amateur radio operators are placed throughout the course,
acting as the eyes and ears of the event. This is to assist with emergencies and other event logistics. It allows experience participating in a directed net, with
procedures similar to responding to an emergency. If you're new to
amateur radio, don't worry, you'll be paired with an experienced
operator who will support you.
