The annual Winter Field Day was a great success. Six brave club members turned out for the 24 hour event designed to hone emergency communications skills under austere conditions. This year the club event was in a local park, with each of the six members operating their own station and antennas that each had set up.
In all, over 300 contacts were made with other participating stations around North America. Even better, every attendee learned something new that makes them a better operator. Most importantly of all, everyone had a great time!
