At the monthly meeting on Dec 1st, the club discussed re-aiming the BC-WARN dish.   The BC-WARN signal comes from a tower on Mount Seymour but the path is currently blocked by tall trees near the club.  Because it’s a 5 GHz signal, tree branches effectively block it.  Re-aiming the dish with a clear view of the tower will return our internet service.

Several club members have already offered assistance for the project which will be sufficient to complete it.  Due COVID distancing requirements, additional assistance is not being sought, but thanks to the many that we know would have offered assistance just the same.

We’ll hopefully be able to update this weekend that the signal is once again strong in the clubhouse.

MRARC Thanks you for uploading.
