The club deeply regrets to announce the passing of our club member, Gerald Fix (VE7GJK). We received word on Feb 26th that Gerald had passed away that morning after battling cancer since last year. One of the younger members of the club, Gerald was still working full time for the Province of BC at the time of his illlness. He was known as a quiet, kind member of the club, liked by all. A memorial service for Gerald will take place on Saturday, March 18th, 1 p.m. at the Maple Ridge Christian Life Assembly Church, 11756 232 Street in Maple Ridge.
